Contract information:
This is a temporary contract for an initial period of 2 months with a possibility of further extension, as may be required. There shall be no expectation of contract change or renewal at the end of this assignment.
This post is available only for candidates who have full legal eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Purpose of the Post
The overall objective of this assignment is to support the work of the Technical Cooperation Human Resources and Fellowships Unit. The main duties include administration of SAP-related processes; travel preparation; visas; security clearance for consultants; follow-up on payments; filing and circulation of contracts; and maintaining effective communication with consultants and other IMO staff.

Required competencies
a) Thoroughness and excellent attention to detail in all responsibilities, ensuring consistency in delivery and implementation.
b) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
c) Ability to establish, maintain and manage effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, and to work as part of a multicultural team.
d) Initiative and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
e) Tact and discretion, ability to handle confidential information effectively.

Specific academic and professional experience:
Education to university entrance level (i.e., A levels, Baccalaureate, Bachillerato, etc.). Minimum of three years’ experience in clerical/administrative positions.

Language Skills:
Complete proficiency in English and French is essential. Good working knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage but not necessary.

Other Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential. Experience with SAP or similar software a distinct advantage.
